Traffic restrictions during the Sea Festival 2026

Pilies Street will be closed to public transport from July 24 at 21:00. On the event day, July 26, from 14:30 to 19:00, all movement will be restricted on the section from the Sausio 15-osios and Pilies Street intersection to the Pilies Street and Žvejų Street intersection, near Klaipėda Drama Theatre.

Visitors who want to watch the show or reach Klaipėda Castle site and the Cruise Ship Terminal will be able to do so via the Naujojo Uosto and Naujojo Sodo intersection, past the Pilies Street and Sausio 15-osios intersection where the road barriers end, and through the Karlskrona Square (Žvejų Street) tunnel. After the event ends, from 19:00, pedestrian passages across Pilies Street will be opened promptly.
