Oktoberfest Klaipėda 2026 (Programa)

Prost to new traditions! On September 25-26, the lively Oktoberfest returns to Klaipėda. Born in Bavaria, the Oktoberfest tradition has long since travelled beyond Germany’s borders, becoming a worldwide symbol of great flavours, music, togetherness and celebration. This year, the spirit of Bavaria will take over Klaipėda Castle Site, where a huge festive Oktoberfest tent will welcome guests for two evenings during the final weekend of September. Expect the aroma of beer and pretzels, live music, games, dancing, plenty of fun and, of course, great company. On Friday evening, Oktoberfest will begin with a festive parade from Jono Hill towards the Castle Site. Inside the tent, guests will be welcomed by the traditional ceremonial opening of the first beer barrel, with the Mayor of Klaipėda and representatives of the German community officially declaring the festival open. Then come the first steins, the traditional “Ein Prosit” and the official start of the celebration. Friday’s music programme features Nijolė Pareigytė and her band, Bavarian music group “JuziBand” and “Memelband”. Between performances, guests can enjoy DJ music, games and competitions. On Saturday, the festivities begin at 5:00 PM with host Dainius Martinaitis. “JuziBand”, “Biplan” and “Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys” will keep the party going throughout the evening. Expect plenty of Bavarian energy alongside Lithuanian hits that almost everyone knows how to sing! Guests will also be invited to take part in a variety of games and competitions. Prizes will be awarded for the most impressive moustache and the liveliest table of the evening, while those who arrive dressed for the occasion will have a chance to shine in the best Bavarian costume competition. Raise your glass to music, good times, Klaipėda and new traditions - prost! For those who want to enjoy the festival in extra comfort, a selection of tables inside the tent will be available for reservation.
