"The Instructor"—a Hollywood-style comedy written by Dominykas Klajumas and Benas Lastauskas, devoid of the typical Lithuanian cinematic flair, in which Martynas (Justinas Jankevičius), a cocky but kind-hearted Vilnius resident, loses his driver’s license due to his own foolishness and arrogance. Shrugging it off, Martynas once again upsets his pregnant fiancée, who leaves him and goes to stay with her parents. In an attempt to win her back, the main character embarks on a seemingly ordinary journey to get his license back, during which he meets an instructor (Dominykas Klajumas)—a strange driving school with an even stranger teacher.
For Martynas, getting his license back becomes the greatest challenge of his life, orchestrated by the gruff instructor. He not only makes Martynas cry, laugh, and blush with embarrassment, but also helps him realize the truth: Passing the test is hard. It’s even harder on your nerves!
