Little Mozart (for children with special sensory needs)

This educational concert is designed for children with special sensory needs. “Little Mozart” is a warm and cozy introduction to classical music. During the educational concert, young listeners and their parents are invited to settle comfortably on soft mats and embark on a journey of discovery through the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Some children will quietly listen to live performances of melodies and stories about music, while others will explore their surroundings, move to the rhythm of the music, or make new friends. Scientific studies show that classical music can have a positive effect on children’s emotional well-being, concentration, and cognitive development. The concert will feature works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and other gems of classical music, performed by professional musicians from the Klaipėda State Music Theater. To ensure the most comfortable theater experience possible, the event will take place in the “Marios” hall, where a safe, calm, and predictable environment will be created to help young audience members feel more at ease and comfortable. The following will be provided during the performance: • a smaller audience; • dimmed lighting; • the option to freely leave the auditorium and return at any time; • a cozy environment with fewer sensory stimuli; • theater staff on hand to provide necessary assistance and information.
