Simon Dach House

Simon Dach House is the meeting centre of the Klaipėda German community at Jūros g. 7, named after the 17th-century poet Simon Dach, who was born in Klaipėda. The house has a library, a concert hall with a fireplace, a lecture room and guest rooms. It hosts concerts, meetings and German language courses, marks German Unity Day and welcomes visiting groups from Lithuania and Germany. The hall and lecture rooms can be hired for events and seminars, and guide services are offered. The "Simon Dach House Days" project is co-funded by Klaipėda City Municipality and the Department of National Minorities.
