Mes darom

Mes Darom is one of Lithuania's best-known environmental organisations, bringing together people, communities, businesses and organisations since 2008 to create a cleaner, greener and more sustainable environment. Its work goes far beyond clean-up campaigns. Mes Darom organises environmental education programmes, public awareness campaigns, sustainability projects and festivals while promoting waste reduction, circular economy principles and more responsible lifestyles. An important part of the organisation's mission is to educate society, especially younger generations, strengthen communities, encourage cooperation between different sectors and help restore natural environments affected by human activity. Its best-known initiatives include the nationwide DAROM clean-up campaign, the environmental, educational and cultural festival DAROM by the Sea, and other projects that encourage people not only to learn about environmental issues but also to take practical action.
