Amber Queen

Amber Queen is an amber shop and museum in Klaipėda's Old Town at Turgaus g. 3, near the Theatre Square. The shop sells contemporary and antique Baltic amber pieces, from jewellery to souvenirs, while the museum display presents collections of antique pipes, antique amber objects, large amber pieces from various countries of the world and inclusions with insects and plants. The exhibition introduces the origin of amber and the craft traditions that have survived on the coast to this day. The place works both for shopping and for a short introduction to Baltic amber.
