Klaipėdos „Gintaro“ sporto centras

Klaipėda Gintaras Sports Centre is a municipal sports institution with a swimming pool at S. Daukanto g. 31, not far from the city centre. Several hundred children and teenagers train here in swimming and fin swimming groups, and additional admission of pupils is announced every year. The centre also runs the city programme "I learn to swim and behave safely in water", under which second-graders from Klaipėda's general education schools learn to breathe correctly, float, dive, jump into the water and swim in different styles, with much attention paid to water safety.
