Klaipėda Beach Volleyball Club (KBC) is a place to play beach volleyball in Klaipėda all year round. In the winter season the club uses an indoor hall with beach sand at Šilutės pl. 48, in the southern part of the city, and in summer it plays on outdoor courts at the Antroji Melnragė beach next to the lifeguard station. Courts can be booked for a game with one's own team, and the club runs training sessions, winter tournaments and events. KBC players also compete internationally; the club's pairs have taken podium places in European and world-series beach volleyball tournaments.
