First Melnragė

First Melnragė is one of Klaipėda's most popular seaside areas, located only a short distance from the city centre. Here, the Baltic Sea meets the entrance to the Port of Klaipėda, while the northern breakwater offers views of the sea and ships entering and leaving the harbour. During summer, First Melnragė Beach attracts visitors for swimming, sunsets and relaxing walks along the coast. In the cooler months, it remains a popular place for long seaside walks and fresh Baltic air. The surrounding area offers recreational spaces, children's play areas, cafés, as well as walking and cycling routes. Being one of the most accessible beaches from central Klaipėda, First Melnragė is an easy place to escape the city and experience the atmosphere of Lithuania's Baltic coast.
