Malūno parkas
Malūnas Park is a green park around the Mill Pond, next to the old mill building at the corner of Bangų street and Gluosnių lane, east of Klaipėda's Old Town. Until 2017 it was known as Trinyčiai Park, after the nearby Trinyčiai factory that gave the pond its nickname Trinyčiai Lake. The pond itself formed as early as the 16th century, when a branch of the Danė river was dammed, and in the 18th century the Joniškė, Būtsargiai and Justenhof manors grew up around it.
Today a cycle path winds through the park, and there are children's playgrounds, swings and picnic spots. By the pond stands Jurgis Malinauskas' sculpture Žydėjimas (Blossoming), marking the former geographical centre of the city.
