The Fall of the Whale

Hailed as one of the most emotionally intense thrillers of the year, *The Fall of the Whale* is sparking strong reactions—fans describe the film as “nightmarishly tense,” “a truly claustrophobic nightmare,” and “shockingly intense.” This survival film doesn’t let you catch your breath for a single moment and is completely unlike typical survival films. While searching for the remains of his missing father, young diver Jay Gardner finds himself in unimaginable horror—he is swallowed alive by a giant sperm whale. In total darkness, with oxygen rapidly running out and panic mounting, every second becomes a desperate struggle for survival. But the greatest danger lies not inside the whale, but in the memories from which he can no longer escape. Tense, claustrophobic, and emotionally powerful, *The Whale’s Descent* is already being compared to *127 Hours*, *Buried Alive*, and *The Legend of Hugh Glass*, and many predict that the film could become one of the most original and memorable cinematic events of 2026. The film is in English with Lithuanian subtitles. Distributor: Theatrical Film Distribution, UAB
