Exactly a quarter of a century ago, director Rob Cohen and Universal Pictures gave audiences one of the most iconic films about cars and illegal street racing—“The Fast and the Furious” (English: “The Fast and the Furious”), which over time has become one of the highest-grossing film franchises of all time, generating more than $7 billion in revenue.
And to mark the occasion—as the first, beloved, and nostalgic installment of “The Fast and the Furious” celebrates its 25th anniversary this year— the movie bloggers at “Pasiklydę ekrane” have decided to bring it back to the big screen.
So get ready—on October 20, at all “Forum Cinemas” theaters across Lithuania to see this truly iconic and crowd-pleasing blockbuster, which will instantly transport you back to a time when action thrillers felt more down-to-earth, realistic, and memorable.
During the Vilnius screening, audience members will also have the chance to win amazing prizes provided by the event’s sponsors.

The story takes place in Los Angeles, where rival gangs battle for supremacy by racing modified cars—mostly Japanese models—through the city streets. These are races where the stakes are extremely high, and the most important prize is respect.
One day, a series of well-organized truck hijackings begins in the city, carried out by an unknown gang. In an effort to stop this activity, police officer Brian must infiltrate one of the city’s gangs. Over time, he gains the trust of the gang’s leader, Dominic Toretto, and thus gets closer to the truth. However, a new problem arises—Brian falls in love with Dominic’s sister.
