A film that caught the attention of both critics and audiences at this year’s Sundance Film Festival "Mule" tells the story of Samuel Murphy (Ethan Hawke), who, after being sent to a brutal labor camp deep in the Oregon mountains, must shorten his sentence at any cost. He accepts a proposal from the devious camp warden, Clensie (Russell Crowe)—to help steal a large quantity of gold bars and transport them across wild, dangerous terrain. If the mission succeeds, Samuel will be set free. However, during the journey, it becomes clear that the greatest dangers lie not in the mountains, but among the men themselves. Greed, suspicion, and betrayal begin to tear the group apart, and every step forward could be their last. To escape to freedom, Samuel will not only have to survive in a merciless wilderness but also outwit those who are willing to do anything for gold. The film is in English with Lithuanian subtitles.
