“A Fairy Tale Without a Title” is a musical performance for children about unity and true friendship by composer Nijolė Sinkevičiūtė, director Eglė Miškinytė, and librettist Virgis Pupšys—a show that will keep you from feeling sad. In this story, you’ll meet the “five friends” that each of us carries within us… The five friends will do their very best to complete the task assigned to them—to follow the fairy tale. What kind of fairy tale is it? Who are these five friends? Will they succeed? You’ll find out all of this by coming to “A Fairy Tale Without a Title.”
The performance weaves together a wide variety of musical styles, hints of fairy tales overheard here and there or never heard before, and characters who will make you smile, get angry, empathize, laugh, and ultimately—fall in love… If you’re feeling sad or lonely, don’t lose heart—know that your friends are right there with you! Look up at the blue sky and say to yourself: what a beautiful day!
