Having received exceptional acclaim from audiences, the spectacular music and light show “WHITE & BLACK. The Magic of Piano” is presenting a new program—“Millennium Hits”!
This is music that everyone knows. Legendary 21st-century hits, reborn in a completely new way. The program will feature hits by the world’s biggest stars: Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Robbie Williams, Sting, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Bryan Adams, Sam Smith, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, and others.
But you’ve never heard them like this before. These songs, now considered pop classics, will take on a mesmerizing sound—arrangements for piano, cello, and percussion will create a new, emotionally charged sound. Unique interpretations will come to life on stage, blending classical and contemporary music. The experience will be enhanced by a meticulously designed lighting design.
On stage—performers beloved by the audience:
Vytautas Lukočius—a renowned pianist, conductor, and educator. Vytautas is well known to the public not only as a charismatic participant in various television projects, but also as the artistic director of the “Vilnius Sinfonietta” and the Vytautas Magnus University Chamber Orchestra, as well as the conductor of the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.
Kornelija Kupšytė—a young and talented musician and soloist of the younger generation, whose potential is recognized by both music lovers and professionals alike. She is a prize winner at international competitions.
Vaidas Kasparavičius is a drummer who has demonstrated his talent in numerous projects. You can see him performing with both the well-known rock band “Rebelheart” and the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra.
“WHITE & BLACK pleasantly surprised me—it’s much more than just interpretations of well-known rock or pop hits on different instruments. World-famous songs take on an unexpected, refreshing sound. And, of course, it’s impossible not to notice the musicians’ passion and energy—by the end of the concerts, they’re literally drenched in sweat,” says host Ramūnas Zilnys, who is full of praise for the event.
“WHITE & BLACK. Millennium Hits” is more than just a concert. It’s an experience that brings back memories and creates new ones!
