Marvin Muoneké is a young man with an old soul and one of the most prolific and rapidly rising traditional jazz performers in the United Kingdom. A regular on the London jazz scene, he performs as many as five to seven concerts a week.
He’s not just a singer. Marvin also plays the trumpet, writes songs, arranges music, and leads his own swing orchestra, “Big Marv’s Big Fat Band.”
His love for jazz began when he was just four years old, after hearing a Louis Jordan song in a cartoon. At the age of fifteen, he performed “Fly Me to the Moon”—made famous by Frank Sinatra—in public for the first time—and realized that music would become his life.
This was followed by stints with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, appearances on the TV shows “The Voice UK” and “Britain’s Got Talent,” and concerts at prestigious venues in London and Paris. In 2024, Marvin was nominated for “Jazz Performer of the Year” at the Boisdale Music Awards, and in 2026, he was nominated for “Vocalist of the Year” at the Jazz FM Awards.
His rich, velvety, enchanting baritone voice—evoking the elegance of the era of Nat King Cole, Johnny Hartman, and Billy Eckstine—instantly fills the hall with warmth. It’s as if an old vinyl record were telling the most beautiful Christmas story…
The most beautiful Christmas songs and the powerful sound of the Kaunas Big Band will take us by the hand and lead us into the most magical time of the year—the anticipation of light and celebration.
It will be an evening after which we’ll return home with music and light in our hearts.
