What would happen if one day you could no longer lie?
Philip Morris has a big problem—he says exactly what he’s thinking, straight to people’s faces. No censorship. No filter. “Hi, my name is Philip. For some strange reason, I tell everyone exactly what I’m thinking. Most people dream of having the chance to let it all out at least once in a while—except for me, for whom life has become far too complicated. Even buying bread has become a major challenge.”
In search of help, Filip finds himself at a private CLINIC, where a whole team of doctors awaits him. A psychotherapist, a neurologist, a plastic surgeon, a chiropractor, a pediatrician, an acupuncturist… It would seem that at least one of them must surely know how to put the brakes back on a person’s life.
This uncontrollable candor begins to act like a match held to a barrel of gunpowder. One after another, hidden secrets, lies, infidelity, jealousy, money, and things that everyone would have preferred to keep behind closed doors come to the surface.
The longer the consultation lasts, the less clear it becomes who in this office actually needs help the most.
“THE CLINIC” is a wild comedy about what happens when one person says out loud what everyone else is thinking silently.
