The ship-museum Sūduvis lies alongside the Danė river embankment in central Klaipėda, close to the Castle Bridge, and belongs to the Lithuanian Sea Museum. She is a Lindau class minesweeper, built in Bremen between 1956 and 1958 for the West German navy and rebuilt as a minehunter in 1978-1979. In 1999 the vessel was handed over to Lithuania and served the Lithuanian navy for twenty-two years, taking part in NATO operations and exercises. Decommissioned in 2021, she was adapted as a museum. The hull is made of non-magnetic materials, including Brazilian oak and teak decking. Authentic equipment has been kept on board, and an escape room operates alongside the exhibition. It suits visitors drawn to naval history and technology.
