Everyone longs for “RONDO”; everyone needs it. This says neither too much nor too little—only that it was a talented creation that will endure for ages, no matter who tries to distort historical facts or how they attempt to reorganize the top 100 most popular Lithuanian songs —you won’t erase BROLIŲ TAUTKŲ RONDO from people’s memories! People know WHO IS WHO.
ABOUT THE CONCERT
So—the original members of BROLIŲ TAUTKŲ RONDO got together and decided to celebrate the group’s 50th anniversary. They selected a repertoire for the concert that spans the very beginning, from 1978 to 1988.
They then turned to composer, arranger, and producer RAIGARDAS TAUTKŪS to give the songs a new, fresh sound, so that today’s audience would find them familiar and appealing.
And that’s exactly what happened. RAIGARDAS added the ŠAMPANINIS KAUNAS CHOIR to the program, making the concert even more spectacular and impressive.
The concert was so impressive that the audience had no intention of leaving afterward, demanding an encore—and then another. Not to mention that throughout the entire concert, the audience clapped, sang along, and by the end—everyone was dancing!!!
It’s so sweet, so beautiful, that I want to hug each and every one of you and thank you for coming, for remembering, for still loving us!
THANK YOU, my dears! Come visit! We’ll see you soon! We want all of LITHUANIA to celebrate this anniversary with us! After all, we all know very well—an anniversary like this is unlikely to happen again!
